Is it banned on some Social media Platforms, been reading through some articles where they quote posts from Social media Platforms, possibly Instagram but I may be wrong, I've noticed that the word "Dead" seems to be blacked out? Is this a thing and if so Why???

Soft youths today get ‘upset’ at seeing the word for some reason, it’s what they embarrassingly call a ‘trigger word’, look it up

Yep, people are too sensitive these days. I’ve seen it stretch as far as ‘wom*n’ because ‘women might get offended that they have men in their name’

dead/kill/killed, yes.

They say "un-alived".

The psychological avoidance that people engage in, even encourage, these days is SO unhealthy I don't even know where to start. People literally guiding themselves into anxiety disorders.

That's absolutely mental. Whoever thought all these "trigger warnings" and "Safe Spaces" was a good idea? It flies in the face of what we always knew of Psychology

CELEBRITY vicar Richard Coles was told off by Facebook for offensive language after
writing about f.agotts and peas.

The gay Church of England priest, 59, said his post about the Black Country delicacy
was removed by the tech giant which mistook it for homophobic hate speech.

That's absolutely mental. Whoever thought all these "trigger warnings" and "Safe Spaces" was a good idea? It flies in the face of what we always knew of PsychologyVery specific trigger warnings are necessary for people who have experienced RECENT trauma and need to avoid it but it's supposed to be temporary. TV shows with suicide or sexual assault scenes are an example, for people who have recently experienced those things... But gradual re-exposure to sources of anxiety is the key to overcoming it, you're not supposed to avoid uncomfortable concepts forever, it can create serious mental health problems. It's also supposed to be for actual explicit/graphic scenes and storylines... Not any small vague reference.

Yeah i agree with that, I was thinking more of University settings though, where people should be exposed to all kinds of idea's and differences of opinions

Uh it's really not as simple as SOFT TRIGGERED YOUTHS :oh: some people also avoid using the words because it can be wrongly picked up by social media algorithms as being threats.

Never understood the avoidance of talking about death.
It’s part of life, happens to all of us at some point and it’s good to let loved ones know what you want to happen after you have gone.

There was also an ‘anxiety test’ trend during the first lockdown where people recorded themselves whilst sound effects played
E.g. a phone ringing, a knock on the door, footsteps, gunshot

People overreacted to them on purpose, e.g. jumping, looking worried, as it’s supposed to ‘show you have anxiety’ which is apparently a trend nowadays

Posts deemed to be about suicide can be removed on platforms like TikTok etc that’s why a lot of people use ‘un-alived’ as well when discussing it.

I mean this is the reason. It’s nothing to do with soft triggers youths :skull:

TikTok banned my sister in laws boy because he was posting videos without a top on.

That has zilch to do with words though

The age limit for TikTok is 13
And they have expressed they will ‘quickly ban’ any users under this age
