Thank God, she was terrible, her low point had to be the Sarah Everhard vigil. While her officers danced with extinction rebellion protesters and allowed a big yellow boat in Oxford Circus

On the one hand I generally hear she's been as useless for London as Sadiq is, but on the other it sucks that yet another person is falling on their sword for BoJo.
(Probably, I've not read the articles)

It was the Sarah Everard murder that sealed her fate. The fact that it was a serving met officer with a dodgy history that did it and then the way the police handled the vigil for her was impossible to come back from. So not related to Boris at all. Also, it was Sadiq that ultimately got rid of her

Dame Cressida Dick and Sadiq Khan were engulfed in a row over the size of her payoff last night, with claims that she could receive more than £400,000 after he forced her to resign.
The Metropolitan Police commissioner is expected to stay on for two months to oversee the investigation into Downing Street parties. That will avoid her replacement being tarnished by its conclusion, which could decide Boris Johnson’s fate as prime minister.
Priti Patel, the home secretary, is expected to appoint an interim commissioner while an “open and competitive” recruitment process is launched.
Last night the mayor was trying to avoid having to hand Dick a payoff that could exceed £400,000. She is paid a salary of about £230,000 and signed a contract in September to serve a two-year extension to her original contract, which was due to expire in April.
Both the Met and City Hall refused to comment on claims that Dick is entitled to be paid the full salary she would have received had she remained in post until April 2024. This would mirror the situation with Sir Ian Blair, who received a £300,000 payout after being forced out as Met commissioner in 2008 by Johnson, who was then mayor of London. Experts said Dick will also have a pension pot in excess of £100,000 a year.
Dick’s sudden departure leaves policing in turmoil, with the three most important jobs all vacant. Patel is also recruiting a director-general of the National Crime Agency and of Her Majesty’s Chief Inspectorate of Constabulary. Some leading candidates for the Met commissioner post are at the final interview stage for the other jobs.
Khan’s treatment of Dick is said to be deterring some police leaders from applying for the job. Five months ago he wanted to give her a three-year extension. On Thursday he forced her out.
One chief constable said: “Senior leaders in policing who would otherwise have wanted to go for the job are looking at what happened and how Sadiq has threatened Cressida and saying, ‘I can’t work with him’.”
Another senior policing leader said that good candidates could be put off by the treacherous politics intertwined with the role. “Given what has happened and the brutal public way in which she has been forced out, how does a new person lead the Met?” they said. “How do you maintain the confidence of the force, the public and the politicians? It’s an impossible task.”
A minister accused Khan of “using the Met commissioner role as a political football” to disguise his own failings as mayor. The minister said: “If you were someone who is towards the top of your force and who thinks they’ve got six, seven years left of their career, it would be a brave move to gamble it on falling out with the mayor of London.”
A source close to Khan defended his decision, saying: “Sadiq’s job is to hold the Met to account, and it is absolutely right that he ensures it has the right leadership to command the trust and confidence of Londoners, which is so crucial to policing by consent.”
David Lammy, the shadow foreign secretary and a close ally of Khan, said: “Priti Patel and her team seem more concerned with squabbling about the process of Cressida Dick’s resignation than the vitally important issue of restoring trust and confidence in the Met.”
MPs, and relatives of victims affected by scandals that dogged Dick’s time in office, said Khan should either resist offering Dick a payoff or fund it himself.
Sir Iain Duncan Smith, the former Conservative Party leader, said Khan had erred by failing to inform the Home Office that he was withdrawing support from Dick. “He should have consulted the Home Office first — there are reasons you need to get your ducks in a row. They would have checked her contract. But he’s forced her out and she may now have a case for constructive dismissal thanks to the mayor. If they end up having to pay out huge sums of money, he’ll be the one to blame.”
Harvey Proctor, the former Conservative MP who was falsely branded a serial child killer by the paedophile Carl “Nick” Beech as part of the Met’s botched Operation Midland, said that Khan should be personally responsible for the payoff. He said: “Sadiq Khan has messed this up and he should be personally responsible out of his personal purse for the £460,000 that his mess has caused. She should not have been given an extension to her contract.”
Alistair Carmichael, the Liberal Democrats’ home affairs spokesman, said: “Most taxpayers would want to see money spent on rebuilding the Met, rather than rewarding those responsible for its problems.”
Last night Patel said that the challenges facing the new commissioner were “stark and could not be more sobering”. In a statement, the home secretary said Dick’s replacement must demonstrate “strong and decisive” leadership to rid the force of sexism, racism and institutional corruption. The first task would be to “restore public confidence” in Britain’s biggest police force, she said.

Yes that's normal
she was top of the Tree.
Why can’t Sadiq give the Londoners living in poverty 400,000
thats how it is when there is a contract. They shouldnt have extended her contract when it came up for renewal

Edit.. Ooh, she hasn't gotten out of it she's lost her job but still has to oversee the conclusion. Well Cress, time to bite the bullet and do the right thing..what have you got to lose now?
