Emily Carver on the TV panel said
it is wrong to vandalise that street sign.

Prince Andrew hasn't been found guilty of anything. He hasn't even been charged. So what would be the justification for removing his name? Seems a bit
hysterical to me.
The queen thought it was appropriate to remove his name from all honary positions that he held. Naming a street after royalty is pretty much the same thing, so why not deface it.
Andrew will never be found guilty in a court of law, he will never face criminal prosecution. That doesn't mean that he is not guilty of crimes

Exactly. If his own mother thinks he's guilty then I think these folks can remove his name from their street

We don't say about ordinary people, he hasn't been charged... But that doesn't mean he's not guilty. We are required to assume people are innocent until their guilt is proven.

The Council can change the signs
Make it Bill O' Reilly Crescent

There has been no evidence presented apart from a photo that may or may not have been altered. You can think he's guilty... Doesn't give anyone the right to vandalise. Otherwise we'll have to accept anyone about whom rumours are circulating, is going to be considered guilty despite being not being charged and not convicted.

Exactly , and I find it laughable and hypocritical that some still want to defend him .

Stephen Merchant lived in Gaylord Avenue as a kid. He hated it as you could imagine!
