Not sure if any threads have been made about this already, but since when was a drama/ satire about Pamela Anderson & her husband's relationship .... Disney friendly viewing???:huh: .
I now hear the Kardashians will be airing on Disney+ aswell......is this a joke ? Lol . I'm glad I never subscribed to this channel. It looks like it's just plonking random stuff on there ,that have zero to do with it's original audience or theme .
This is how football fans feel when the players start doing all sorts of political gestures. This isn't what the fans subscribed too when they paid their money. They just want a football match and opinions about the football match.

They made plans at the start to make it a streaming platform like Netflix and said it wouldn't be just Disney stuff and it isn't aimed at just Kids

Or when BBC SPort football website keeps putting women's football stuff all over it that noone is interested in

Seems odd when it’s done so amazingly well just aiming at kids/youngsters/ families .
Why change something that’s not broken ?

But wouldn't it make more sense to put 'pam & Tommy' & 'The Kardashians' on another stream service.
Yet Disney thought Lizzie McGuire was "too mature" for their channel which makes no sense LOL  .

I'm glad I'm not the only one who finds this weird & confusing, especially when the same network had a problem with Lizzie McGuire of all innocent programs :conf: lol .

They may as well start showing porn and violent movies now .. they’ve lost their ‘uniqueness’ in my view .

Disney is buying up loads of entertainment companies so they now own a massive back catalogue of stuff (including the entire Fox back catalogue, so that's all Fox shows + 20th Century Fox movies etc.). Not all kid friendly but will all be on the platform.
Just like with Netflix, you can have user accounts with passwords, and kids accounts that can only access the more kid-friendly stuff.
But yeah... They're also going to be making some R-rated (that's a 15 in the UK) stuff going forward, e.g. they're continuing the Deadpool franchise which they now own, so Disney will be making Deadpool 3.

Apparently their subscriber growth has stalled, so they need more than Marvel, Star Wars and family shows etc.
They bought Fox to expand their catalogue.

Mmmm ... then presumably Deadpool 4 ,5 , 6 and 7 etc
I know Ryan Reynolds has already started co-writing Deadpool 5 !!!

They bought Fox to expand their catalogue. The purchase of Fox was complete a full 8 months before Disney+ even launched, and the bid was in place long before that... so they certainly didn't buy Fox because of stalled Disney+ growth.

They knew they were launching Disney+ then.
The Star sub division is where the more adult stuff sits, i like a lot of the shows on there
Disney are putting their subscription up by £20 a year ... so thats one way of handling the subscriber side of things
Goggle box had the twitching cock on channel 4 uk...a show adults will watch with their kids.
