Big brother atleast done the right thing here and told him right away unlike that Aus BB I think it was. I think anyone in that situation would leave as they would want to be around family.

I thought in BBAU Emma decided before she went in that if her grandfather died she didn't want to know?

i think i heard on a highlight show a couple of weeks ago she was 105

It was not the same situation, the Emma's father told the production to not tell her when he will die until her eviction. The production said nothing before her eviction. It was a huge scandal in Australia.

The same situation happened in france in 2001, one housemates has been told about his grandfather, but he decided to stay in the house.

If Jonathan decided to go, I respect him for that, imagine the shock...

It happened on a USBB too. The second series, it was still on during 9/11, and one the finalists cousins was missing. They were told but carried on with the game.

oh sorry to hear about his nan!! he had to leave of course he did! at least they told him not like in australia when they didn't tell a contestant her dad had died and she missed the funeral too!!

maybe coz he's gone thetre will be no eviction this week!!
