That is a shock, all though at first glance I thought the title said Shane Ward, that would have been more shocking

Can't believe that, was such an iconic figure when I was growing up and getting into cricket and the main reason I set my heart on being a leg spinner

Basically went straight into being a commentator after as well so he's been a constant presence in the cricket world for 30 years

He was over weight
and should have checked his blood pressure
and at his age
it is easy to over do it, sadly.

He might have died in front of them, police want to know what happened

Or they gave him something dodgy like drugs that caused his heart attack

Thai police probably want to bribe them.

Warne, who had a history of asthma and had previously suffered badly from Covid-19, "had seen a doctor about his heart", according to Yutthana Sirisombat, Bophut Police Chief in Koh Samui.

Three friends had been staying with Warne at a villa in Koh Samui when he suffered a suspected heart attack on Friday. Mr Yutthana would not comment when asked about the likely cause of death, but said police are waiting for the results of a Covid-19 test before scheduling a post-mortem examination.

He was a great lover of life which probably took its toll over the years. Odd that the police are interviewing people over a death of natural cause
