i might be one of the very few who likes the look of this years line up a lot

reminding me more of ESC back to the older days when it was mainly about the songs, don't care for that reason it is very Ballad heavy

quite some fun uptempo's we got as well

Moldova with some good old nostalgic folklore rock

Spain with a musicals, series, film actress and former backup dancer to Shakira, with a very ummm how to say it right, fiery, raunchy, sexy bop SloMo

Netherlands going for dutch language again for the first time in 12 years (since 2010) and now with a strong entry too compared to that vader abraham mess

France in Breton dialect language which is also cool

pretty sure UK's Sam and Norway's Subwoolfer can get along very well, i mean they are from ''outer space'' and he sings about space :D

Finland sending a huge name rock act The Rasmus

Serbia with quite a weird folk entry with Latin language phrases and bit of handwashing choreo (+ she also said about adding english subtitles in the background for translation purposes of the song)

both Malta and San Marino going for acts who are famous in Italy too, San Marino's Achille Lauro also competed in this years Sanremo for Italy and his entry here has a strong glamrock vibe (ala Gary Glitter)

while Emma Muscat for Malta she is maltese, from one of Malta's wealthiest families (basically a family company whom are quite well known across more countries for the design and transport of pregnant women's clothing, children's clothing) and she is also famous in Italy, having duetted with Eros Ramazzotti before, and also with famous tenor Joseph Calleja, and most of her songs with warner music italy have got well over 50 million views on youtube, she won the nf with ''Out of Sight'' but there are rumours she might go to Turin with a whole new song

Belgium going Bond vibes with a bit of a R&B sound, Jeremie Makyese is the artist, he took part in The Voice, and he also is a footballer, a reserve goalkeeper with a lower division belgium team

Poland having Ochman (the grandson of a famous tenor Wieslaw Ochman) one of his entry's composers is Ashley Hicklin, and you guys might know her from being in the team in two UK you decide entries (You by Jaz Ellington and Astronaut by Liam Tamne)

If he’s actually the entrant it’s quite a clever move because he’s obviously incredibly popular online all over the world, but the song, unfortunately, is crap

#1 on ITunes and close to becoming the 3rd favourite to win with Bookies

Are they actually gonna promote this guy and song across Europe over the coming months then? In the same way LLoyd Weber and Jade did?

We can’t rely on just sending “a great song”, nobody votes for us.

What's the ods for Ukraine? They're gonna win.

that song isn't a winner, can see it finishing quite high but i think juries will rank it low overall to prevent it winning

also not one who you give sympathy votes to, since that one is completely different from 2016 with Jamala

this one more a fun song, without any political message

Is Belarus in Eurovision,

Nope, they are expelled as of last year

after they sent that vile pro-dictatorship troll entry, not that they intended to compete

Malta's Emma Muscat and UK's Sam Ryder meetup during the London Party last weekend

and apparently Emma has been following him on social media's last few years now and Space, Man is one of her fave entries from this years line up, alongside Brividi of course because duh italian language and her being a fan of Mahmood

Sam Ryder is currently at #1 in the latest mid-week chart but Harry styles is less then 1k copies behind, should he hold on he will become the first UK Eurovision entrant to have their song go to number 1 since Gina G did in 1996, 26 long years ago

He has also been confirmed to perform at the Queens Jubilee concert
