In all seriousness Parmy if you're getting pain and swelling in the wrist without actually having injured it you should get it checked out, because it could be a wee touch of arthritis.

Could also be an Repetitive Strain Injury of course. You haven't been using your wrist for a repetitive task several times a day or anything have you ... ?
