sometimes you need to speak to unpleasant people
And some of those unpleasant people are funding terrorists and married to children...

SkyNewsHD Kay Burley told James Cleverly Minister
she viewed a video from Saudi Arabia that she would not tweet.
It was a woman walking across a road and
her head was chopped off.
James Cleverly refused to comment on a video
he has not seen
I agree with James
on this.
Without knowing anything on this
he can not comment on it.
I have searched for what Kay Burley
spoke of
can not find it.

LBC LIVE the Left Winger presenter
he is moaning about a new possible Oil deal with Iran.
Or buying Oil from Saudi Arabia.
To me,
it does not matter
who we buy the oil from
as our Petrol Prices are Higher than most nations.

Giving money to terrorists is generally a bad thing.
Especially when we're meant to be moving away from oils etc...

They have Leaders of Each Nation
you can not call him a terrorist.
Look, we are going to change to more Electric Cars
but not in one Poxy DAY.
We ARE petrol cars at this time.
people need some basic perspective. Right now we need loads of oil and gas, we can deal with ethics in the longer term. We do need to become energy self sufficient, but that isn't going to happen over night

Yes TS
most tanks are over that.
So doing deal any with Iran and Saudi Arabia
to get our prices lower
is essential.

 I doubt it considering that's a full SUV tank of diesel from fumes (20 miles left according to the little message) to the click, but I guess that was "Tesco prices" not motorway prices. However for reference, a month ago it topped out at around £77 if we let it run to empty... so almost £15 more for a full tank today.
It's only going to keep going up, though :umm2:.

Prices never really go down once they've gone up. Maybe a little in this case, but there's no deal that's going to bring them back to where they were before. Any deal that's done will hopefully stabilise prices so that they don't keep going up, but I can't see them being under around 155/litre again. Ever. They'll just keep 'em up there and force people to get used to it.
yeah, the best we can hope for is that prices stabilise. Too many companies are making money from this and they wont give that up

This argument was being made last century, and well, if we'd committed to renewable energy independence, we most likely would be in a lot better position today.
I have a feeling people will be saying the same thing in another 20 years.

i don't think the world has been this f'd up before outside of ww2
i can't say if the government will take heed or not, because i certainly don't trust them, but i hope they do

We've known since the 1970's that climate change was coming for us, but generation after generation has been bought off by oil companies and here we are.
I mean, there was one politician who had a green new deal at the last election and has never been bought off by dictators, oligarchs, or big oil, but everyone knows how that played out.

I don’t let the tank go below 3/4 before I fill up ...(a) because it feels like less money and (b) I don’t trust folks not to start panic buying at some point

Yep it should be so simple but how can you create an industry where the right people are profiting? .. That's the real problem.

We should have been full-nuclear decades ago. Nuclear is the only sensible bridge between a fossil-fuel-fired energy grid and renewables. But everyone was understandably spooked by Chernobyl.
