Realistically: you still have to have a job, pay taxes. No nomadic rainforest lifestyle

For me:
Australia - speak English, they seem friendly. Cute accents.

Sweden - Swedish isn’t too hard to learn. Nice landscapes, cute people.

Switzerland - Nice landscape and speak French too.

Maybe Canada, nice landscape there, english/french speaking …

Off limits for me: USA, Ireland anywhere too hot like Mediterranean

Having lived in 5 of the 6 continents I really want to make it 6 out of 6 a spend a year or two in Rio.
I have spent over 6 months traveling in South America, but never lived there. Such a shame.

I know a couple of people who have spent time in Antarctica, one used to post pictures of them playing football in the snow with a little crowd of penguins watching them. Apparently they'd all start crowding round every time they brought the ball out. So if nothing else, I guess the research team proved that Antarctic penguins enjoy watching football.

One of the guy I know isn't a researcher though he's an electrician, was basically there as a glorified janitor for 6 months but getting paid an absolute fortune . The point being I suppose, you don't need to be a scientist to live in Antarctica for a bit, there are other jobs you can get at these places. Probably quite an amazing experience for someone young free & single.

LA would be nice.

Nice little house in the hills with an infinity pool and views over the city. The dream.
