They should be classed as someone who has has an operation to be like a woman
Surely?

A transwoman is as much of a woman before genital surgery as they are after :)

It's actually legitimately not as simple as it sounds because woman is a gender term and gender is a social construct not a biological construct; the real question is, what does it mean to be womanly, what does it mean to be feminine, where are the lines between traits with a biological basis and stereotypes, and (and important one, I think) - can a feminine-presenting biological male be classed as a woman.
To be honest all of the issues can be quite easily addressed by making the distinction that a woman is NOT an adult human female, and thus, identifying as a woman does not make one female.
So people can identify as and present as women, but that does not give them access to female safe spaces. It does not make them eligible to participate in female sports. It won't get them assigned to a female prison.
But that doesn't go down well because it is, seemingly, highly offensive to acknowledge that a trans woman can never be biologically female.

Babysitting earlier - I asked my 7 yr old nephew “What is a woman”.
Answer:
“They have babies like my mummy”.
(His baby sister was born 2 months ago.)
So there you have it.

god is a woman.Don't be silly.
God crrated all, so the last thing he'd do would be to make himself a woman.
God created Adam first but soon realised that he needed somebody to do the cooking and cleaning for Adam. So he took one of Adams ribs and created woman and he called her Eve, because he created her on Christmas eve.
Listen to me and you might learn something .

USA Today cites 'science' to claim 'there’s no simple answer' to defining a woman. Social media responds.

Urgh... that's almost as bad as the medical definition of 'cervix owner'.
I'm struggling with the way the conversation is slanted in that only women and not men are in the spotlight for redefinition.
Either the two are totally aligned or forget it.

Jeez Kizzy, are you actually criticizing a 7 year old? :nono:
Are you that humourless?
