Dawn Butler MP is stepping back for a while : Breast Cancer

Dawn has said
because it was detected early
she hopes it will clear completely.



[Labour MP Dawn Butler has undergone surgery
after being diagnosed with breast cancer
at a routine check-up.
The MP for Brent Central, 52,
was given the news in December
and recently had a mastectomy
at Royal London Hospital.

She said she had no signs
or symptoms and the cancer
was only picked up because of
routine breast screening.]

Absolutely, I wish there was more awareness as to how important it is for both sexes to regularly get checked, however embarrassing it may be!

If hers was found before any signs or symptoms, she has a pretty good chance of making a full recovery:)
