yeah not having kids at school definately helps

https://www.independent.co.uk/asia/east-asia/south-korea-covid-outbreak-vaccine-facebook-b2045448.html

South Korean doctor has faced a backlash after suggesting people who are yet to catch Covid-19 probably do not have friends.

“The adults who have not yet been infected with Covid-19 are those who have interpersonal problems," Ma Sang-hyuk, who is vice-president of the Korean Vaccine Society, wrote on Facebook.

He reportedly deleted the 16 March post following the backlash before saying that the remark was only metaphorical and there had been a misunderstanding.

Do you do the testing?

Often?
Only when you feel you need to (feeling unwell, forced to by work, travel ect)?
Never?

Eldest tested positive on an LFT today :fist: ffs. She had a mild headache earlier, didn't think anything of it, then she comes home from school like "My pal's off with covids lol". Her pal she's constantly kicking about with. So did a test and faint but clear line on it . No symptoms at all currently though, headache went away might not even be related. None of the rest of us testing positive.

Here's Brandon himself telling you that you're not gonna get Covid if you take the vaccinations. In the second video here. Why did he say that?

As Toyah Wilcox once said, It's a mystery.

Just go and get it, 4 days of nothing, then 3 months worth of freedom from the stressing of getting it again..

That's my advice.

I never said it would stop me or anyone getting COVID,I'm just saying ... Plus I take precautions and I've thankfully NEVER had COVID.

And if I ever DO get COVID then I'll isolate for 10 days etc until I'm negative again.

It’s an academy and we have to show the initial LFT result and then get a PCI after that .

She wasn’t too bad in January but far worse this second time

the new variants have all been sub classes of the original omicron variant so while you can catch it even if you have had omicron, its unlikely that the will be any more successful at beating the vaccines. If they were the numbers in ICU would be exponentially rising, and they are not

An aircraft engineer pal of mine told me that you’re actually unlikely to catch it on a commercial plane because of the way the airflow and cabin pressure works… basically there’s a constant “flow” of fresh air through the plane so you’re never in that sort of… “soup”… of infected air even if someone sat nearby has Covid. There’s no buildup of Covid particles in the air so you’re less likely to get a high enough viral dose to catch it.

Interesting stuff. He put diagrams on Facebook and all sorts.

Neither me nor my wife have had it (to our knowledge). My eldest had it a few months ago and we took no real precautions against catching it from her. In fact during the course of it there was an incident where she burst out laughing and fired a little ball of spit right into my wife’s mouth! :umm2:. My wife still didn’t get it.

My youngest was a little under the weather around the same time so MAY have had it, not really possible to get a reliable test from her. Neither of them were very ill at all… very minor sniffles and a sore throat. But they’re only 9 and 12 so to be expected.

Still just had it the once and wasn't ill with it

I've just sat in a 2 hour meeting with a client who had it last week - it was his second time, first time he was really poorly - this time not so much. He was coughing all through the meeting though but said he was testing negative.

My friend works on a Stroke Ward at a local (large) hospital and their numbers are increasing at the moment. She said they have been advised to wear masks again but she isn't bothering.
