I wonder if him getting the keys to broadmoor and partying with the tories made the cut?
Why would anyone want to watch this ??!?

Do we really need another program about Savile :umm2: , should have known Netflix would get in on this.

Tip of the iceberg is more apt
netflix are doing significantly more serious documentaries, this looks to be firmly in that category and so i'm fine with it. I fiercely objected to the BBC doing their adaption as they profit further from enabling the creep

I have no issue with documentaries about Saville but the "dramatisation" ... gross.

My sister was a trainee nurse at LGI in the 70s. Nobody would ever get in the lift with him.

He used to have sex with the dead bodies didn’t he. Disgusting.

Well there are two very high profile female tv Celebs who were well aware of Jimmy Savile and his perverted ways .. they both chose to keep quiet - they say that nobody would have listened and there would have been a cover up plus they would have had their tv careers ended .
I don’t know how they live with themselves to be honest

Mariella Frostrup stated on Times Radio
when she was 18years old, working in Radio 1
Jimmy Savile Grabbed her Tits
making a Car horn sound.
They asked her what did she do?
She said : made sure she could avoid getting near Savile
every again.

I’m going to try and watch the first one tonight.

it's shocking how much he did and said in plain sight. The completely incredulous moment was when they showed a clip from a chat show with him and gary glitter picking out underage girls in the audience to take back to their changing room after the show .... i kid you not

I’ve watched this interview a few times and I’m always shocked when he mentions that there were a whole bunch of them that got away with it for so long.

By sounds of it Savile might aswell have had a sign around his neck saying "pervert" , that's how obvious it was by sounds of it.
Even in this clip he's trying to make a joke about his behaviour . He was such a twisted smug individual who got away with it . And what makes it worse is, he knew he could get away with it. He was best buddies with the royal family. CtUuOIXLawg

Savile really was a disturbed creep he was laughing in everyone's faces . He never had to answer to his crimes, which is the biggest slap in the face of all his victims . He was protected by the royals especially Charles & he had the BBC wrapped around his finger. The more power and fame the more untouchable these perv's seem to be .

If you say Charles, you have to include Jimmy's dear friend Diane as well.
Charles letters to saville sounds like code for where can I get girls.

Watched the first part. 'orrible. Such a sinister and fundamentally creepy man. Knowing what we know now it's really sickening seeing what he was up to and the power he was manifesting for himself through various means to be able to do what he did and hide in plain sight under the guise of a "hero". Evil.
I'm dreading part two. :omgno:
I'm half way through part 2 atm..
Nearly puked twice.
For me, the biggest enablers were the BBC. They knew what was going on and then they even canned the documentary that was going to expose Saville. We pay a licence fee for that?
Now the bbc are making a drama about it which they will then sell around the world and make profit from. I think it's despicable

Watched part 2 earlier. Just horrific.
The sheer scale, in every sense of the word, of his abuse (time span, number of locations/institutions, amount/ages of victims) is just terrifying.
