[Amazon reportedly plans to block and flag
words like “union,” “living wage” and
“plantation” on an internal messaging app — days
after warehouse workers in New York became
the company’s first in the US to unionize.
The list of banned words also
includes “pay raise,” “prison,” “slave labor”
and “restrooms,” the Intercept reported on Monday.

The alleged “restrooms” ban comes after
years of reports that Amazon warehouse workers
and drivers have been forced to pee in bottles
in order to meet punishing work quotas. ]

I'm utterly shocked that a giant fatcat corporation is treating its employees like cattle.

There was a word for this too but it'd be a definite ban.

We do not need a puzzle.
USA Amazon does not want or need a Union

Being the best paid/best treated Amazon employee is like being the nicest person at a Hitler Youth rally, the bar is very low.
There's a ceiling when it comes to some things, and being a poxy shift supervisor doesn't mean much, especially in the eyes of the executives.

Id imagine 5 years they will employ 50% less staff due to automation advances

They said this about th'bookies as well, it never materialised, in that way anyway. Yes some full closures due to online, but the "machines replacing shop staff"? The truth of it is, they break or have issues so often that they need just as many staff as they did before the machines existed.

In truth, I don't think Amazon will be able to make machines that can pick & pack as efficiently as a human workforce, certainly not one that's paid peanuts. You not only have to build the machines, but the warehouse also has to be hyper-organised in a way that machines can understand without making constant errors.
