Robert Eggers' (The VVitch, The Lighthouse) new movie. A Viking revenge thriller. Looks absolutely nuts but in a good way.

oMSdFM12hOw

Prince Amleth is on the verge of becoming a man when his father is brutally murdered by his uncle, who kidnaps the boy's mother. Two decades later, Amleth is now a Viking who raids Slavic villages. He soon meets a seeress who reminds him of his vow -- save his mother, kill his uncle, avenge his father.

Insane cast too:-

- Alexander Skarsgard
- Nicole Kidman
- Claes Bang
- Anya Taylor-Joy
- Ethan Hawke
- Bjork
- Willem Defoe

Out April 15th.

Initial reviews just out are VERY favourable. Expected really after his other movies, Eggers is a really excellent filmmaker. :clap2:

I went to watch it and didn't really like it that much? Be interested to hear other peoples thoughts

Thought it was weird it was marketed as 'this generations Gladiator' when it was nothing like that. Too much weird hoodoo stuff for me and not enough actual combat
