The other 50 per cent was held by a Russian Technology company, EYEDENTITY360 who operate out of Tver in Western Russia. Lt, you just have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. Just own what you believe.

Receiving donations from a company (accepting your info at face value) is nowhere near the same thing as personal donations from oligarchs that fund the tory party.

Corbyn has always hated Putin. He's on record from the time he came to prominence. You don't have to pretend anymore. Pretty much everyone has left

And Russia is a far right authoritarian government, just to help you out.

Macron brought that in

Crimson Dynamo

"This time Marine is in charge and her true colours have emerged, at least economically.
Statistical analysis has revealed that 66 per cent of Le Pen’s manifesto is left-leaning,
focusing on healthcare, public services and redistribution. Conservative economics such as
free market reforms and small government comprise only 21 per cent; in 2017 it was 35
per cent and under her father in the 1980s it was 80."

Despite this Le Pen is still depicted, in the words of this week’s New York Times, as
‘hard-right’ and ‘anti-immigrant’. She is neither. She has made a clear distinction
between Islam and Islamists, stressing she has no enmity against the religion, which
earned her the ridicule of Macron’s interior minister, who accused her of being ‘soft’ on
Islam. As for immigrants, as Le Pen stressed in a recent TV debate, she welcomes
genuine refugees, such as Ukrainians, but not young men from Africa in search of better
economic opportunities."

Yeah, even most of our prominent right wing figures would find that too far. Banning face coverings is completely understandable, but a bloody head scarf?! Mental.

That said, am I remembering right that France is ardently and proudly secular? I'd imagine it comes from a place of anti overt visible religion, rather than specifically anti islam.

Are we even surprised some members here support Le Pen? I didn't expect anything but still ended up disappointed.

Anyway, Macron will take it in the end with a lower score than in 2017 but the third and fourth rounds in June will determine how we will be able to govern. He probably will have the majority of seats but not by a landslide.

She can hide who she is by paying people to make her look less evil but she hasn't changed one bit in the end. She's still close with Nazis, fascists, racists, homophobics and all that kind of people.
At least her father was not hiding his revisionism and racist views (though his daughter is not doing a good job at it anyway). We see right through her. She's trash and showed it again last night when Macron ate her up just like in 2017. Her economics policy is a disaster and she knows it's a struggle and a weak point for her. She crashed again against Macron who knows all those topics by the back of his hand. She cracks under pressure so fast it's hilarious.

Enough talking about her. Despite having flaws, Macron is the right man for the job. Even though he was not my first choice, I had to vote for him in the first round to lower Le Pen's results. And I will proudly vote for him on Sunday to keep the evil away at least for the next 5 years.

her islamophobia is already more than enough proof that she hasn't changed and is still the same racist, fascist she always has been

more islamophobia will only backfire on us all, with her plans to deport many islamic refugees, this will lead to many many terrorist attacks across europe

French elections: Macron loses majority as French vote fragments

[Less than two months after he was
re-elected president, Emmanuel Macron
has lost control of the French National Assembly
following a strong performance by a left alliance
and the far right.

He had called on voters to deliver a solid majority.

But his centrist coalition lost dozens of seats
in an election that has left French politics fragmented.]

[The prime minister he had only recently appointed,
Elisabeth Borne, said the situation
was unprecedented.

A storm broke over Paris as she returned
to her Matignon residence from a long meeting
at the presidential Élysée palace to say that
modern France had never seen
a National Assembly like this one.]
