You should give the meals to the wealthy so that they can eat 95% then let the homeless fight for scraps. This. Is. England.

Did they not have any haddock?
Cod isn't very nice tasting compared with haddock.
If you ask for fish and chips anywhere in my city you would be given haddock, and that's why we have a reputation of producing the best fish and chips.

I love a "Special Fish supper"
which is breaded Haddock - mind you always have to wait a bit longer for that

People of Hull are known as "Cod-heads" That's because when we was one of the World's largest fishing ports, we used to send all the cod inland and keep all the haddock for ourselves.
I suppose that's why lots of places up and down the country see cod as the most popular fish.

We used to go to see the All England Cod Fishing Championships in Scarborough- every September about 50 odd years ago
