I really don't like it when they do these types of thing on the radio, especially where they ring up countries from abroad.
But I watched this programme for the first time last night and found it quite funny, especially when the reciever like...fights back and it's quite funny to hear them getting annoyed!!

It reminds me of little Britain and such...
Programmes where the same jokes are MURDERED to death until it really isn't funny anymore.

The guy who pronounces DVD/VHS etc wrong and the one who asks for your Sort code and Card number are ridiculously boring now.

The mouse is pretty entertaining =]
Some of the others have their moments.
But considering there's probably millions of possible prank call situations you could invent, sticking to the same few ideas grows a little tiresome.

Can only be funny for so long.

Occasionally they get lucky and the person on the other end has a funny reaction to the phonecall, most of the time the person barely says anything and is uninterested.

Me and my friend always do Mike impressions, and whenever I ring someone the first thing I always say is ''Hiii, my name's Miike..." haha - I watch Fonejacker too much

The king of prank calls returns for a festive special, featuring all the favourite characters from series one: George the scamster, Irish Mike, Terry Tibbs, Indian Call Centre and Mr Miggins, as well as Fonejacker himself out in the streets of Britain seeking targets to call and confuse. Fonejacker is a man addicted to making prank telephone calls, taking on various guises to scam and confuse the person who answers the phone. Animation, photographs and live footage are used to create a visual narrative to illustrate the calls. Some calls feature live footage of the target being called. A second series of six programmes is commissioned for Summer 2008. The first series went out in summer 2007 and has been nominated for Best New Comedy Entertainment Show at the British Comedy Awards.
