That is tragic.. you would hope something like that would trigger a change. Sadly I don't think it will, governments and business just don't care.

Actually it's the complete opposite; things like this CANNOT be seen to trigger a change. If this triggered a change, it would be a signal that people setting themselves on fire "works" and thus could lead to an increase in self-harm behaviours aimed at forcing political change. It's essentially along the same lines as "not negotiating with terrorists".

I also suspect that this poor man must have had some fairly extreme mental health problems, as something this horrific is obviously not actually about climate change... it just happens to be something that he's become fixated on and a focus of his troubles.
