Increases in buying the feed for Chickens
is causing a massive change,

with lots of animals
but his Free Range Chickens,
are costing too much to feed,
so his current thousands of them
may not be renewed.




A extra £400 a day, one farmer now has to pay
in Grain Feed increases.

what i hate about these stories is that they are self fulfilling prophesies. The price is now certain to rise to the same price as beef

What does "the same price as beef" even mean? Per animal? By weight? Which part of the animal? A beef roasting joint? A steak? Because as far as I can tell there's not currently a huge difference between 500g of chicken breast and 500g of beef mince... with the mince probably actually being cheaper.
