Pig ignorant bus drivers.

I've had a bad experience this morning with not one but two Arriva bus drivers!! Two! Pfffft.

First of all I got on the bus and went to pay with my card, but his machine rejected the transaction. I explained there WAS money in my account and the card was a new one so unlikely to be that at fault. He told me to go to a cash till and get money out and I'd have to get the next bus. Rather than letting me pay for my daysaver ticket on my next leg of my journey. So now I'm running late.

Then on the next bus the driver had no change, I only had a ten pound note and he refused to let me on. Grrrrr. I explained what had already happened and that I was late and he grudgingly said go and sit down but make sure you have the right change next time. In a really snotty tone of voice. I wanted to punch him but did not.

Not the best of starts to the day. Lol.

Some busses can print off a "change owed" slip if they don't currently have enough - you can either spend it next time you get on one of their busses, or they/the next one you get on cam give you the cash if they have it spare.

I was at uni and had raided my change jars to scrape some money together for a few pints. Put my bus money in one pocket, and drinking money in the other. Had to leg it to catch the bus and as I got on I emptied on of my pockets into the slit. Not until I went to pay for my drink with a few 10 and 20p's did I realise what I'd done :facepalm:

I hate bus drivers too, one made my 11yr old get off as she'd lost her pass, it was dark and snowing.. she rang me from school in tears and I sent a taxi, trust me if I'd seen him that day!!

Another time me and the boy got the same bus to school EVERY DAY one day I was 20p short and he was so rude because someone gave me the 20p!! Looked at me like a beggar! :/

Now when I'm driving I dont let busses pull out in case its him...and it was 14yrs ago :laugh:
