What are your thoughts?

I think I remember Ben went traveling there years a go if my memory serves me right.

I am thinking of going out there for a year. I already have the visa and have until April next year to use it.

I'd be working so it would be work experience and get to see another part of the world. Quality of life is different in different places too.

Are they letting tourists in now?

Yes, they have been since March. Working holiday visas anyway.

Multiple times. Both islands.

And what are your thoughts?

LOTRs?

Yeah it looks beautiful. They're screaming out for workers in healthcare and after contacting an agency they pretty much offered me a job, just need to firm up my plans.

South Island is beautiful everyone will tell you its the best island. But honestly for me the North Island is the place to go. It has all the culture, both Kiwi and Maori, Wellington is an amazing city. It has the beautiful landscape also, not as dramatic but still great, it has all the geothermal activity, the North Island should not be skipped.

I haven’t and tbh if they have giant spiders the size of dinner plates or ones that bite you and make your life misery like Australia do then I defo won’t be heading there anytime soon. The scenery does look amazing tho I don’t doubt that for a second.

I will do both if I end up going, but will go where work takes me to start with. Thanks for the input.

See, I feel the opposite. I loved Australia and New Zealand doesn't have the same appeal, maybe it's the weather. New Zealand doesn't have Australia's weather. Still interested to go New Zealand though as it's one of the places they do a working holiday visa.

Australia is brilliant

I spent a year in Australia and never saw giant spiders or snakes other than in a zoo. They're more scared of you than you are of them
