I haven't written anything creative since high school! D:
All I can do is have a try, and Nicky is a total legend, that's no lie.
As you can see I can't rhyme at all, but I'm tying to finish this before nightfall.
When I think of Nicky I think of a certain dancing show.
We're both Superfans, I'll have you know! :dance:
Even though we always butt heads during Strictly, we always make up just as quickly.
He changes his mind like night and day,
but I wouldn't have him any other way.
The warmest and biggest hug to you, my friend.

Kate is my favourite member to the other members I mean no offense

But through the good times and bad times for me Kate has been there and a lot it has meant

She is always first to say yes to take part in my many games

And I always smile as I add to my original post her name

I know the difficulties she has faced in parts of her life

Stuff that has caused her quite a lot of strife

But she always makes me happy when she is around

And I honestly do think she is absolutely sound

To Kate who brings so much joy to the forum

And to the tasks because we all adore them

I like so many members on here

But this poem is for Kate and to ever lose her off this forum would be a really big fear.

So this is dedicated to Kate

On a hot summers Tibb night
Slim Reaper was talking his usual sh1te
It had to be done, it had to be done
So along came Alf to spoil his fun
Toy Soldier was scrolling by
And scored Alf's poem extremely high

Ode to Jet


So I have dedicated this poem
To a man we know as Jet,
He is not quite a regular,
But his Posts we don’t forget.

He clearly has an interest
In our Royal family,
And he clearly is a Royalist
For that we must agree.

His posts are so informative
And his arguments are fair.
He holds himself together,
He is articulate and aware.

So Jet deserves a Knighthood
In the Queens Platinum year.
And I dedicate this poem
To someone I hold dear.

Yesterday I was asked to write a poem. Great.
Only problem is, my writing isn't cool!
I haven't written anything creative since high school! D:
All I can do is have a try, and Nicky is a total legend, that's no lie.
As you can see I can't rhyme at all, but I'm tying to finish this before nightfall.
When I think of Nicky I think of a certain dancing show.
We're both Superfans, I'll have you know! :dance:
Even though we always butt heads during Strictly, we always make up just as quickly.
He changes his mind like night and day,
but I wouldn't have him any other way.
The warmest and biggest hug to you, my friend.

Many great things from Scotland come
From thistles and Loch monsters and Irn Bru
But if you ask me what's number one
A certain forum member comes through

It could be Toy Soldier I mean
For he is Scottish and great
But but despite he being cool and lean
There is someone else I highly rate

A seeker of antiques, he goes high and low
Though it might be said
If he wants to find something really old
He could look in a mirror instead!

He's almost as cool as Noddy Holder
From the music group Slade
And only the wisest will agree
Everyday is the best song he made!

Here’s a poem about a user that is a pain in the bum
And he goes by the name of michael21
A professional gambler and a good one indeed
Thanks to him I now have to much money coming to meee
His tips are very handy but his spelling is very poor
I suppose he’s just glad that Tottenham are in the top four

Is his mansion real or has he faked it?
If Liverpool win will he walk through his high street naked?
Some of things he says I do find quite funee
Thanks for the tip on chicken balls the other day, they were in fact quite yumee

I notice he has a tendency to call Arista ‘The Green Man’
I think secretly our Michael is a huge fan
Like he is of Just Eat and getting a full refunds
Or being banned from Tibb for around 6 months

I hope that he’s happy with his new state of the art fence
I’m sure that it looks absolutely immense
Like his bank accounts digits I know it to be true

It's not even the speed really but the "window of time"... as everyone can see from my posting on here, I do take regular "breaks" from working to come on TiBB :hehe:, but the first message said to do it after 5pm ... No, it really isn't. That's not at all the intention. I would disqualify anyone who deliberately did that, not that I think for even one minute that any of you would do that. Its meant to be lighthearted like Vanessa said.

What I will say is perhaps you should all get the permission of whoever you are writing about. I'd be honoured personally. If not, then write about yourself.

If I did it about myself it will be a pretty boring read of me going to work, coming back to do housework, doing the school run and then just moaning at the kids until they go to bed. Because that's my life day in day out. I'd feel like I could offend another member if I did it about someone else too
