So this is my top 80 UK sitcoms.

The top places are pretty much accurate but a lot of the placings might not be perfect so don't get to hung up on that.

The criteria I've used is that I've had to have watched every episode or in the case of a few old ones, every existing episode (some older ones had episodes wiped) so there's some popular and loved sitcoms that haven't made my cut, but some of those I have seen a bit of.

Fleabag is a bit of an odd one. Obviously it is a comedy but it’s not really ENTIRELY a comedy… hard to call it a sitcom IMO. I’d say the same about something like After Life.I hear the actress who plays fleabag is very good.

Some comments from other critics whom I respect have said they struggled with the first series but loved the second series and will go back and watch the first series again because maybe they'd see it in a different light now.

I watched the first episode and I struggled with it. It didn't really make me laugh. I thought the bad language was a bit over the top. It's language I expect from men working on a building site but it didn't come across as appealing coming from a lady.
