Have you looked into getting fluvoxamine off your doctor? It’s essentially the antidepressant form of risperidone (I know the jargon’s a little deep but don’t worry about it) and it’s supposed to be good at countering COVID-related symptoms. To date it’s pretty much the only pharmaceutical treatment there is for it (and it’s remarkably safe).
That might be something you want to think about discussing with your doctor?

Just be sure to spell out clearly to the doctor that it’s fluvoxamine per se you’re requesting for, not fluoxetine (a startling number of clinicians don’t know the difference at first glance because fluvoxamine isn’t the most common of antidepressants out there, so it’s much less-known-and-prescribed). Either way a three-week course should see you through and back to full health in no time; buddy.

I’d rather ‘waste’ (even ’though that blatantly wouldn’t be the case here) a doctor’s time than have him waste my time by prolonging the course of illness and turning a blind eye to a potentially-viable treatment all in the name of misguided ego-preservation.
Bye-bye, kid.

Its true though no GP service would let you through the door with covid, they will direct you to call 111
Get well soon Sheriff!
Doctors are not interested in covid patients. As someone who visits the doctor on a regular basis, they are very specific. DO NOT ATTEND if you have any covid symptoms. Reschedule your appointment.
If you become poorly, then call the nhs hotline and get yourself admitted straight to hospital

My doctors are still only doing phone call appointments and for the most part doctors will recommend over the counter medication.

It ends here. No normal person is going to take time out on a Saturday to point out the blatantly-obvious.
