Some of you may or not know that Alan Johnston was held as hostage for 114 days. He has thankfully been released and returning home.

This man has endured real captivity and isolation from the outside world (unlike the groaning Hm's!!!) all for something he truly believed in and that is journalism.

I would like to welcome him back and to remind others that there are still loads of innocent people held against their will and hope that they are returned home also.

Welcome back Alan.
