Yes, this is the issue.

It takes from 20-30 seconds (or more) for the post to appear and it's very likely doubled.

I've worked out that the delay in new posts going through is being caused with issues with the Tapatalk app / servers.

I'm not sure what I can do other than disable Tapatalk on the forum until they sort it out.

2) A problem with my phone specifically (though it has always worked fine until the last week or so)

Here's a little trick I've discovered.

Once you've clicked on post. Immediately go out of the thread by clicking on Forum home. You can then immediately go back in the thread and your post will be there.
