[Please pray for me': Justin Bieber reveals
he's been struck by facial paralysis from
rare syndrome in shock video to fans
and shares fears as he struggles to
eat after being forced to cancel tour dates
The 28-year-old pop star took to
his Instagram on Friday to share
a three-minute video explaining the diagnosis
Ramsay Hunt syndrome is a complication
of shingles that can lead to
temporary facial paralysis
The hearing loss and facial paralysis
associated with the complication is temporary,
however, can become permanent
Justin's right eye was unable to blink
and the right side of his face did
not move in the video
Justin later updated posted
an update on his Instagram Story
as he wrote: 'Been getting progressively
harder to eat which has been extremely
frustrating, please pray for me'
On Tuesday, the artist had announced
he was postponing the 'next few shows'
of his seven-leg, 130-date
Justice World Tour due 'non-Covid related illness'
This has not been an easy year for the
Bieber family as Justin's wife Hailey
was hospitalized in March for a
small blood clot in her brain which
gave her stroke-like symptoms]

Face paralys for him and a blood clot in the brain for his wife?
Are they both vaccinated?
Did they get their vaccine shots done together?
Are the vaccines the cause?
I know you that were in support of the vaccines don't like those questions but these are questions that need to be asked and that's more important than your personal feelings. The vaccines were experimental at the end of the day and the volunteers were basically Guinea pigs.

[Ramsay Hunt syndrome (RHS) is a rare
neurological disorder characterized by
paralysis of the facial nerve (facial palsy)
and a rash affecting the ear or mouth.
Ear abnormalities such as ringing in
the ears (tinnitus) and hearing loss
may also be present.
Ramsay Hunt syndrome is caused by
the varicella zoster virus (VZV),
the same virus that causes chickenpox in
children and shingles (herpes zoster) in adults.
In cases of Ramsay Hunt syndrome,
previously inactive (dormant) varicella-zoster
virus is reactivated and spreads
to affect the facial nerve.]

You bring COVID vaccination into everything. This has nothing to do with it.

Health comes first, sounds pretty serious. I didn't know his partner was rushed to hospital aswell. Sounds like they've both had it tough.

His wife’s condition is not related .. it’s a heart defect from birth apparently
Quote
Hailey Bieber underwent heart surgery after suffering a “mini stroke” last month. The supermodel, 25, revealed she recently had a patent foramen ovale (PFO) closure procedure performed to mend a hole in her heart - a small opening that didn't close the way it should after birth.

Something that gets me..look at his eyes
The deepness, the darkness surrounding them..like elvis, torn and battered from tour after tour, venue after venue, bus after bus..
Why put yourself through that, surely he has enough money to stop whenever he wants..surely he knows how drained he is..
It all makes me suspicious that these superstars are open to blackmail to continue raking in the money for the power behind them..it wouldnt be hard to get some compromising photos of these young starlets as they begin to sample the first temptations of fame..

I have two of John Miles albums ... excellent back in the day but I’d never bother playing them nowadays
Maybe I simply overplay them at the time

In most cases I don't think they're being controlled, the sad reality for many (like Bieber) who became HUGE when they were very young is that it's more like an addiction. All those screaming fans and adoration when they were young was a massive high, and the adrenaline never quite hits those peaks again, as you say after years of touring and exhaustion, but they're still seeking that high they got from that initial burst of fame. Much like how addicts often describe heroin addiction I guess; "chasing the dragon"... no high is ever quite like that first one, but many will seek it endlessly.
Of course unfortunately for a lot of these young stars they also turn to actual drugs to compensate... which wipes them out even more physically.
What Bieber has is a post-viral syndrome... those often affect people when they're been wiped out before they had a virus, or didn't give themselves enough time to recover. I don't think it's surprising that Bieber has been affected by something like that... as you say Parmy... just look at him. Compare it to the kid who first came onto the scene years back. Fame has quite clearly ripped Justin Bieber to shreds, physically and mentally... as it has countless people who started out very young.
It's very notable that the most well-adjusted celebrities are usually the ones who didn't hit the "big leagues" until later (30's and beyond).

There's huge control.
I'm not so sure they're chasing a high again. Maybe wondering why they wanted it so much to start with and that it's like nothing they thought it would be.
I think drugs is part and parcel of living that lifestyle, who you're hanging around with and a way to cope with fame because it must be so overwhelming. Some have stronger mentalities than others.
So many want to famous and just see the good side of fame, not realising that there's a lot of people who are pulling your strings. Not being able to do 'normal' stuff, constantly being mobbed, security telling you that you can't do something etc
In regards to his music, I think Justin Bieber has matured massively and releases some very good hits now

Yea I agree with that too, I suppose I’d argue that there’s an element of both. The initial surge to the top is likely the most exciting part and then the “returns” in terms of that adrenaline and validation start to decline, as (just like any lifestyle) it just starts to become normality. And then as you say I’ve seen many describe being left with that “hollow” feeling when the day to day reality isn’t what was imagined.
Some sort of seem to come much more back down to earth - but again it seems to be the ones who found fame older? I suppose, because they once lived a more normal life, so that can more easily go back to living that sort of life. It’s the ones who NEVER lived a “normal” adult life who seem worst affected… Michael Jackson, Macaulay Culkin, many of the young 80’s stars, and really a huge number of the young Disney stars (Olsen twins, Demi Lovato, Shia Lebeouf, Lindsay Lohan etc to name a few off the top of my head).
Bieber was taken under the wings of big-name stars when he wasn’t even old enough to shave, I don’t think he stood a chance. He hasn’t looked “well” for a number of years.
Apparently Justin is a fan of the Nazis
His Seig Heil is OK but he needs to work on his goose step.
