June 10th
He may be the future King of England, but for a day Prince William took to the streets undercover to sell magazines to support people who are homeless.
In a LinkedIn post with a photograph of William, Matthew Gardner, a retired police officer, said his brother-in-law, Richard Hannant, had spotted William, 39, and enjoyed a “private moment with our future King who was humble and working quietly in the background, helping the most needy.”
William, much like his late mother Princess Diana, has been a longtime champion of the homeless community, serving as a patron of Centrepoint and backing The Passage homeless centre – both local charities.

Princess Charlotte has the most impeccable manners in unseen TikTok video - watch
A video posted by TikTok account @the_blazing_royals capturing the sweetest moment between Prince William, George and Charlotte in Wales on Saturday has amassed over 1.4million views.
An onlooker films as Prince William shakes their hand, followed by a confident handshake from eight-year-old Prince George.
The video then captures seven-year-old Princess Charlotte catching the eye of the person filming, hesitating, and then proudly shaking their hand as she beams at the camera.
"What a lovely moment [heart face emoji] #princewilliam #royalfamily," reads the video's caption.
Royal fans were quick to react to the royal tot's adorable moment, flooding the comments with messages about her model behaviour.

June 10th
Sam Ryder confirms Prince William and Kate Middleton actually watched Eurovision with the family and backed him all the way
The Eurovision superstar, who came second behind Ukraine this year, has revealed that the Duchess of Cambridge and other members of the royal family tuned in to watch him perform in Turin in May…
…..Sam confessed: ‘I said “Hello” to Kate, and she was asking about the performance.
‘She is so kind and said that the royal family had all been supporting me for a while and all throughout Eurovision….
Sam added that it was ‘incredible’ and ‘so inspiring’ to have the encouragement from the royals, saying that ‘they stand for’ themes that Eurovision celebrates, including unity and solidarity.
‘And that coming together of people in a world that seems to find ways of disconnecting us at any given time,’ he added.

Totally irrelevant unless he’s flying so close to the ground, and with such great precision, that the helicopter blades neatly trim the shrubbery into a pleasing shape.

Yeah, it's not weird to write the article, it's weird to point out the weirdness....Ok Parmy.

There is nothing weird about an article that has pictures of the youngest child of the future king and queen.
It shows him as a new born and shows him growing up,

In your opinion.
In your opinion.
But why do you think its weird - you haven't said yet.
The press are fast becoming obsessed with these royal kids, it's nothing new i know, i remember Harry and Will in the papers every other day as kids. We'll see how it affects them over the years i guess. But they need to be prepped for life on the front cover for many years to come.
I will never understand our royal obsession, but the next gen of royals and the press' relationship with them is in full swing now.

I wasn't criticising you for posting it, my criticism was of the article itself. If you swap out the royal kid for a boy down your or my street, then it instantly becomes apparent why I or anyone else might think it's weird. It never crossed my mind that it was weird, I'm pretty sure most wouldn't think so either. But if thats your opinion, then okay...

I think poor Louis is unfortunately destined to be the next Harry. His antics will be cute and fun until he hits his 20’s (let’s not forget that the press LOVED rogue Prince Harry not too long ago) and then he’ll be thrown on the heap alongside his uncle for “not being royal enough” and spend the rest of his days being unfavourably compared to his big brother.

By defending his wife...he lied through his teeth. If you TRULY believe that in his position and an Ambassador for Mental Health he could not help his wife when she was 'suicidal' then I think you must be very naive.

William wasn’t in Spain 10 days ago, he was in London playing a major role in the Queen’s Jubilee.
But you are missing the point. Zizu seems to think Harry is a 'better' Royal and mentions how senior Royals engage in blood sports and Parmy is pointing out that Harry does also - and see how proud he looks with his dead prize.
Harry has also been condemned for using his spurs on his polo horses - let’s say so enthusiastically - that they bleed.

We know plenty about what was said. This is Harry, who allowed his wife to accuse the Royal family of racism…..
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7822883.stm
Prince Harry's racist remark about a Pakistani member of his army platoon has prompted widespread criticism.
The prince issued an apology after the News of the World published a video diary in which he calls one of his then Sandhurst colleagues a "P***"....
…..The prince filmed parts of the video and in another clip, he is heard calling another cadet a "raghead"....
Mohammed Shafiq, director of Muslim youth organisation the Ramadhan Foundation said: "I am deeply shocked and saddened at Prince Harry's racism. It has no justification.
"Prince Harry as a public figure must ensure that he promotes equality and tolerance and this rant whether today or three years ago is sickening and he should be thoroughly ashamed of himself."
Graham Smith from Republic, the campaign for an elected head of state said: "Harry Wales has not only demonstrated how he is unfit to be a possible future Head of State, he has shown he isn't even fit to be a leader in the armed forces."
"It is high time Harry was stripped of his title and privileges and withdrew from public life."

It’s well known that both Harry and William enjoyed hunting in their youth, but given that this was nearly 20 years ago and they were barely out of their teens I just don’t think it’s all that relevant. People are allowed to change their stance on things and regret their past actions. I don’t think there’s anything at all to be gained from judging people on their actions decades ago. That goes for both of them by the way, I’m not just “defending Harry”.
In 2004 I was 19 years old and god help me if people start judging me today based on the things I did and said at 19 :umm2:.
Have any royals ever condemned hunting?

I was responding to Zizu who seemed to be under the impression that Harry didn’t engage in blood sports unlike other Royals, when he definitely did; and Glenn who got his dates wrong (he thought the article was more recent.)
Would you have killed a buffalo at 19 though? I would say not. It’s a despicable sport that has been passed down through the centuries in aristocratic families, but even if I was a member of one of those families I couldn’t do it. I honestly can’t even kill a fly. :hee:

I'm not a veggie but no I can't say I can get my head around killing for sport. If it came down to it I would hunt for food, but killing an animal for any reason other than food, self defense, or I guess if one is suffering... I don't know how people can pull the trigger, personally.
To be fair I can't claim that I wouldn't harm a fly, my charity doesn't extend to most insects. I do spare spiders these days though even though I hate them... I've come to accept that they're vital to the ecosystem etc. so I begrudgingly capture & release. I have a little handheld hoover that I use so they get to ride the cyclone before I dump them in the garden :joker:.

Any hunting is despicable so if you’re gonna sit up on a pedestal and drag Harry down for it, do the same for his older brother and the rest of his blood thirsty family
the royals do all forms of game hunting, small, medium and large. Not one of them to my knowledge has ever said a word against it and yet they think its ok to lecture everyone on the environment, immigration policy etc

With some game hunting (deer, rabbits etc.) there is the complicated factor where reducing numbers is actually GOOD for the environment at large. Out of control deer populations do a tonne of environmental damage. I personally think the natural solution is far better of course - bring back the wolves we hunted to extinction... their removal from the food chain is the reason that deer populations got out of control.
However yes the basic fact for now there is... there is actually no conflict between being an environmentalist and hunting deer in the UK. It's not bad for the environment. I still, again, personally couldn't look an animal in the eye and shoot it unless it was specifically for food/survival purposes... but they're different moral quandries, basically.
The opposite of course is why hunting an endangered animal is absolutely unthinkable. Needless AND damaging.
But he still went on to have his say on Harry killing a buffalo…

I was responding to Zizu who seemed to be under the impression that Harry didn’t engage in blood sports unlike other Royals, when he definitely did; and Glenn who got his dates wrong (he thought the article was more recent.)
Would you have killed a buffalo at 19 though? I would say not. It’s a despicable sport that has been passed down through the centuries in aristocratic families, but even if I was a member of one of those families I couldn’t do it. I honestly can’t even kill a fly. :hee:
It’s not something he chose to do though ...it was expected.. .. I shouldn’t be surprised if he’s rejected a blood sports now he’s older and wiser I recall seeing reports of him going on his first hunt as a very young boy ... then afterwards they smeared blood on his forehead

Well I've just read the whole thread again, and I can guarantee you have not condemned harry for hunting....
Hunters yes, but you have not once condemned harry by name. So dont lie by saying you have condemned harry when you havnt

Would Harry not be included in ‘hunters’ then?…….
It says in the article that William was hunting boars though doesn’t it. As you haters are all about news reports and tabloids I’d say that’s fact yes?
And again, if you actually could read properly I literally just condemned Harry for hunting. I also condemned anyone that hunts.
You didnt condemn harry for hunting like you claim in this post...you condemned all types of hunting so you could include William's alleged boar hunting.
You skipped past the photo without condemning Harry's smug little face as he proudly mounts his kill, instead you used the photo to bring up something about his brother boar hunting in spain..
You have had an excellent opportunity to condemn the smug cruel sports hunter in the photo today...you just couldnt do it though..so I will add the word cowardly to the word liar...to make you a cowardly liar on this subject
In short you said I condemned harry..then you said I also condemned hunters.....you hadnt condemned harry so you cant use the word also..because you only done one of the 2 things you claim.

Honestly what is there to condemn in someone who has done something in the past that they now condemn themselves? Not much point in that really, is there. Not a fan of the modern world's tendency to offer no road to redemption - why bother working to better yourself if you're always going to be judged on your worst day, even if it was decades ago? And frankly... I'm very suspicious of ANYONE who says they would happily be judged on their worst day. If you took a snippet of anyone's life on that day and showed a video of it ... I reckon everyone looks like an absolute monster.
So yeah it doesn't matter that much if they've both engaged with hunting for sport in the past - if they regret it and don't take part now, that's all that matters. In fact, someone who used to do something turning round and condemning it actually means more than a layperson doing it, in my opinion.
People like to look at self-reflection and positive change and call it "hypocrisy", which is obviously nonsense. It's only hypocrisy to condemn something that you STILL engage with (or benefit from) or if you don't acknowledge your past deeds.

I condemned everyone that hunts because that’s how I operate. I don’t single anyone out just because I don’t like them like you do as I’m not as simple minded as you are. Any hunting is barbaric regardless of who they are. I think that was pretty apparent from my post but like I say you’re simple so have decided to go all around the houses.

Harry just dont use a gun anymore, he will still happily inflict pain and distress on 3 horses for one game of polo though.

You are extremely simple mate.
I mean it’s pretty self explanatory. I condemned hunters. Harry hunted. William hunted. The royal family hunted. Every other person who has ever hunted = hunters.
I mean if that doesn’t explain in the most simplest ways for you I haven’t got all day to draw diagrams for you.

9 years in the horse racing industry left me firmly believing that animals simply shouldn't be used in sport at all. Jockies are CONSTANTLY being fined for excessive use of the whip, they just accept it as part of the sport.
It was you that said William wasn’t there last week. I just said the article was from 2015 or whenever it was because that was the date I see on what parm posted. Either way it doesn’t matter when it was. William was still boar hunting…
It’s hilarious that you’re chastising Harry for it and not the other though. That’s the irrational hatred coming out in you again.
Any hunting is despicable so if you’re gonna sit up on a pedestal and drag Harry down for it, do the same for his older brother and the rest of his blood thirsty family
As you haven’t comprehended my posts properly, I’ll make it clearer for you.
You said William was boar hunting 10 days ago and I corrected you. He was not.
What’s the problem?
I’ve clearly said I think blood sports are despicable, which would obviously include condemning anyone’s participation in it, I don’t care if it’s Harry, William, Lord Muck or anybody else who kills animals as a 'sport'.
I hope the straws you’re clutching at are paper :joker:
You also have the audacity to pull others up for not condemning william..when they have condemned hunting in their posts.
Glenn.

And it also follows worldwide condemnation of another royal hunting trip just ten days ago when Prince William went boar shooting in Spain.
From that very article

I think you have the wrong person, I referred to William's son looking like a stuffed pig on a banquet table just the other day.
So can we address why you would still proudly show harry in your avitar when you know what hes like with animals.? Or is it firmly brushed under the carpet for now?

Love this pic of little Louis. He's a hoot.

I thought we could discuss what's not been deleted from the thread?
Specially on a discussion board...is the argument effecting you in anyway?
Is it effecting anyone but me and glenn?
I shall continue to reply to anything I see that has not been deleted, especially when its deliberately said to antagonize people.
Do your job correctly and I wouldnt have to reply to Glenn's clear and evident admission of trolling that has went unpunished.
