I wonder if there a modern day equivalent that I might be missing out on.

The nearest you will get is a sausage and cheese roll

Tesco do a sausage roll and chutney and they are delicious

Sherriff....imagine in your head you are licking a leather football....I bet you can taste it??

I'm right ain't I....

Try it with other things as well, I bet you taste whatever it is you imagine you are licking.

A random fun fact just for you.

Well I would have to know what leather tastes like first and I can’t say I’ve ever licked a football .

Now if you said pussy, I’m your man.

We don’t want to hear that type of talk, we don’t make them we eat them.

I used to make them years ago stuffed with chicken breast and creamed mushrooms ,they were yum, but not eaten one for years now.

Puff pastry is my fave type of pastry.
