[The Metropolitan Police is being "monitored"
over its recent performance,
the independent inspectorate has confirmed.
In a statement, Her Majesty's Inspectorate
of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services (HMICFRS)
said the move was to help support the
Met Police to make "improvements".

"We can confirm that we are now
monitoring the Metropolitan Police Service
through our Engage process,
which provides additional scrutiny
and support to help it make
improvements," they added.

The HMICFRS outlined the two stages
of its monitoring process,
starting with the "scanning" phase - which
"uses data and information from a range
of sources to highlight poor or
deteriorating performance and identify
potential areas of concern".]

They've made it harder, don't you have to do a policing degree now?

Also, it was quite hard to get in years a go...I knew someone who applied and they told him he didn't have enough life experience..... He didn't give up and as far as I'm aware he is still in the police.....this was probably 15 years a go though.

How do these idiots get into the Police force.:facepalm:

When it comes to Meghan Markle receiving abuse I honestly blame a lot of that on our Media harassing her to an unbelievable degree imo.

Witch hunts like that shouldn't be allowed by our Media imo.

Tbh most of them.

There hasn't really been a Journalist willing to stick their neck on the line and give a more balanced opinion of her.
