i think you have this wrong. Heinz have pulled many of their items from tesco stores because tesco refuse to increase the price. Tesco try this with many suppliers forcing small producers out of business

[Heinz products off Tesco shelves after pricing dispute]

[Heinz has stopped supplying Tesco with some
of the UK's family favourite products
in a dispute over pricing.

Baked beans, ketchup and tomato soup
are among the cupboard staples missing from
shelves in some Tesco stores.
Kraft Heinz, which owns the brand,
said its production costs were rising
but it was working with Tesco
to resolve the situation quickly.

But Tesco said: "We will not pass on
unjustifiable price increases to our customers."

"We're sorry that this means some products
aren't available right now,"
a Tesco spokesperson said.
"We hope to have this issue resolved soon."

Some Heinz items are already out of stock,
according to the Grocer magazine,
which first reported the falling-out.

In recent months food manufacturers have
reported rising costs,
including for energy and commodities,
with some warning they would need
to raise the prices they charge to retailers.
However supermarkets such as Tesco
are striving to keep prices low for
customers facing a cost-of-living squeeze
and shopping more carefully.]

Heinz have been charging ridiculous prices, lots of people have been writing to complain and to ask how they can justify the massive price rises. Heinz can shove off.

I have heard from a bloke in the industry (good source I know) that Tesco do treat suppliers terribly and shaft a lot of smaller firms

Expect people will have less sympathy when it's Heinz though

I was just looking at the Heinz tins in Asda just now. £1.75 for a tin of spaghetti and sausages which is pretty scandalous

Isn't it a bit like those hot dogs you get in tins? Made from "Mechanically Recovered Chicken"

I do recall offering one of those tiny sausage thingies to our dog who had a good sniff .. then shook his head violently and walked off !!

I’d eaten five of them by then :)
