[What would you do if you checked
your bank account and found you had
mistakenly been paid 300 times
your normal salary?
Well, one employee who discovered
he had been paid nearly £150,000 for a
month’s work instead of the usual
£450 decided to duck and run.

The unnamed staff member at
Consorcio Industrial de Alimentos
in Chile did initially raise the
eye-watering overpayment for May
with his manager who then flagged it to HR.

He agreed to return the cash and
promised to go to the bank the following day.
But instead of giving it back,
the man withdrew it and hasn’t
been seen since.]

Yeah but it's not enough to set you up for life with a new identity/in a new country probably in hiding for the rest of your life ..not sure it's worth it tbh

If your personality is to take it and run....it won't last long.

I'd be scared that I'd get caught.

But if I was gonna evade detection then I'd be insane not to take the money.

There is NO way you could possibly get away with this, I would report it. As I know how SERIOUSLY they take 'money related incidents' . I'm not getting myself arrested for something so insane.

Take it and say you spent it on drugs and hookers instead hide it

In this country you would maybe get 5 years or less and be out in just over two

If you keep the money & spend it & not report what's happened,I'm pretty sure you'll get longer than 5 years .

You definitely don’t know this countries justice system
Plus you say you spent it on hooters and drugs can’t be proven you did or didn’t

You will get longer in jail for stealing money than you do the childhood of a child.

People that swindle many thousands of pounds from the Benefit system often get told to pay it back out of their benefits , it’s such a small amount it would take 20 years or more in some cases

A woman claimed to bed ridden swindled 620,000 with her daughter and son inlaw who were her fake carers between 2005 and 2018 the three now live in Germany and will be sentenced soon
I bet they get next no more 7 years each

That is true tbf, just ask Boris Becker.

According to the UK's sentencing, Boris apparently did a worse crime than that pedo years ago who ****ed a 1 year old.

Classy stuff from the UK justice system.
