If on public area
Police would stop it.
As it would be filmed, etc.

I get that both sides have done bad things to each other, but what on earth does doing this achieve?

Petty divide is a little bit of an ignorant take tbf Mock. I know you're not ignorant of course but Ireland used to be one whole country and then Britain tore us in two and then one section are allowed display vile hatre filled sectarianism against the other (non British side) is that petty?
