It's a bread and butter pudding but with a Thomas C twist.
Here is my recipe;
A dozen or so crusts of bread
A big dollop of lemon curd.
A good helping of powdered sugar
2 pints of semi skinned milk
A generous amount of hot chocolate powder
A nice handful of sultanas
Butter
Eggs x 3
Method;
Get a dish of your choosing.
Cut your crusts and butter them lovely.
Place buttered crusts in your dish, layer them up nicely
Place your sultanas between your crusts (not on top because they'll burn, you may want a few but most get hidden)
Mix together your eggs, sugar, lemon curd and chocolate powder. Pour the mixture over your bread and use your hands to plunge the bread down which will spread the mixture fully.
You can allow 10 minutes to breath or just put it in the oven.
Mine is cooking as we chat. I will post a picture once done.
