I am sick to the back teeth of politicians getting media jobs.

There's Rayner, and David Lammy - money-grabbing polticians who cannot be a***d to do their MP jobs full time so they get these money-top-up media jobs.

Lammy is a total hypocrite. He is supposed to be sympathetic to the poor but all I see is a man who is greedy. When he got his £2,000 MP bonus earlier in the year he didn't give that to a food bank. He banked it himself.

There are also two (could be more) sitting MPs who are on GB News TV. Every time I see them I switch off. One is a young woman who only became an MP about 2 years and she is already fronting shows on GB News while drawing her lavish MP salary and expenses.

It's sickening and should be stopped. Be an MP or work in broadcasting. NOT BOTH! :fist:

I don't see why they need to have MPs doing guest slots as presenting.
However since they do.
As long as it's not like another full time job.

I see no real wrong on it.

I do agree, especially at present that MPs time would be better spent working solely for their constituents however.

For me, if an MP is presenting a radio show, they are not representing the people that elected them. I would say the same about writing columns for newspapers etc too. It's not in the spirit of best representing constituents.

Yes, I'd easily go along with all that.

She's not just a local MP though, she's deputy leader of the Labour Party...
