Hardly wild when they are fenced in.
The plan would be to take away the fences in time
The plan would be to take away the fences in time
I think health and safety might have something to say about that.

[The project,
led by Kent Wildlife Trust and the Wildwood Trust,
is taking place in West Blean and Thornden Woods.
They will fell trees by rubbing against them,
creating space and light and providing deadwood
to help other plants and animals.
The area has been prepared by the UK's
first ever bison rangers.
The Trust said the next step is to
introduce Exmoor ponies,
Iron Age pigs and Longhorn cattle,
whose natural behaviours complement the bison.
Paul Whitfield, the director general of
Wildwood Trust, said:
"It's going to demonstrate the very real impact
nature based solutions can have in
solving the climate crisis.
"We're going to prove the impact bison
in the wild can have on the environment.]

Wonder how long it will be before there are deemed to be too many, and we decide to cull them ?

Nice!
My local area had a reintroduction scheme of red kites. In the UK as a whole they're pretty uncommon, but here if you're looking at the sky for any length of time you're more likely than not to see at least one

That might be where introducing Lynx and Wolves back into the wild might come in?
Beautiful animals though

Peregrine falcons are surprisingly common in cities, as tall buildings emulate their preferred cliff faces.
