Do you have a stereotypical “Sunday-lazy-fun(-ish) day through-and-through (not even bothering with a big Sunday lunch) or do you try and add some activity/routines (e.g., church) to the picture?

.... summer

Maybe a car boot sale early doors , walk the Dawg , all English fry up for brunch , watch whatever sport is on the telly and random snoozes whenever..

Football season we always have a game most Sunday mornings...drink at the pub, home for dinner or stop for a Roast somewhere and earlie-ish night.
Summer....out for a drive..go to a farm-shop/quirky Barn shops..stop for a drink then home for dinner or a BBQ.
Having said that...I have had a mega lie in today and doing very little as I have not been well all week...:bawling:

Just had our fry up and watched the Man City v Real Madrid 2 legged semi from last season

How City wound up losing that tie is a mystery:shrug:

I wouldn’t be quick to put too much faith in any team besides the Reds (not that I’m an avid football fan like that but I support who I support).

April - September = cricket
September - March = all day football/NFL

Both bookended by a fry up and takeaway

What's "conservative" about going Church and doing simple household tasks? :joker:

I’m talking about conservatism in the sense of ‘traditional social/mums-y-inspired activities,’ not politics. Come on, man. You know that.

Ditto. They kind of give you a bit of stable grounding after a wild Friday/Saturday.

Today isn't a bad Monday, I've taken a few days off this week so I'm only at work today and tomorrow :hee:

In other words today’s your Thursday sequel to a five-day weekend?

Talk about alright for some.

I just can’t jibe with Mondays even if they’re going alright technically. I’d take one bad Friday (or even Thursday) over 8 good Mondays any day of the week. It’s worse when you didn’t get enough time to rest properly over the weekend and you go into Monday just knowing it’s going to be one of those weeks and it’s just the beginning.

Taking my most recent Sunday into consideration, I like to laugh at folks who argue about Emma Watson refusing to meet with Meghan
