it's too easy to forget your surroundings when you get distracted. Any time i got off a helicopter I was nearly bent double ... just to be sure

Have no idea why you wouldn't concentrate in such a situation, so have to wonder what was going through his mind. Apart from the rotor blade.

I always think of that young newly married couple who took a selfie on a cliff edge and tragically fell to their deaths.,

So very sad and so avoidable
