It goes without saying that the forum’s pretty dead these days but how about the show itself? Were you mostly on-board till near enough the end or did you start actively losing interest between BB8 (such a terrible series) and channel 5 days?

I actually stopped watching after BB8, made up my mind I wasn't watching anymore, so didn't watch BB9, then an old school friend who lives in England who I was chatting with on FB convinced me to watch BB10 because a friend of hers was going to be in it, that friend was Lisa [emoji3517] anyway I found TIBB that year so stuck with it

am still a BB fan, somehow wish people in UK would be similar to germans in terms of tv tastes and not moaning that much, no offense
german tv above uk tv for me personally now
am looking forward to winter, for anniversary promi bb there, they decided to do a first ever winter series there, instead of usual in summer, risky as well with world cup on but tbf it are two completely different viewer demographics anyway

I think BB10 was the first series where it really felt like the media and wider public had lost interest in the show. It didn't help that that season felt so stipped back and basic to what we'd seen from the show the few years before it (and not stripped back in a good way it genuinely felt like the producers just couldn't be arsed to do anything interesting :skull:) It's saving grace was how good the cast otherwise it could have been a complete disaster.
I don't think civilian BB ever really had much of a resurgence when it moved to C5, the celebrity version definitely did though.

I’ve never watched a C5 civilian series so for me it was after Ultimate Big Brother. I’d agree with Jordan that the celebrity version did have a bit of a resurgence tho. I did watch a majority of those on C5 although I did miss out on the odd 2 or 3 series.
Died at BB4. It came back from the dead as a vile monster and gradually kept dying each and every series onwards.

that countries like UK, Netherlands are becoming more woke everyday is not my problem
14 was my favourite C5 series, i watched most of them. Hazel vs Gina was pretty epic.

thankfully karma is also coming for woke Netflix, hopefully many more people will be unemployed
C5 also deserves a slow and painful bankruptcy death, with that woke moron Ben Frow :yuk: :yuk:

BB7 was the turning point, the series was very watchable but all the twists, extended duration and production influence really left no where else to go in future series. The exact moment the tide changed I would pin to them putting Nikki back in with the chance to win.
BB8 was actually watchable but following on from BB7 it could not compare to all of BB7s twist/entertainment, viewers switched off in their millions.
BB9 was the nail in the coffin, the housemates just ruined the entire series, it became completely uncool at schools and work to say you were watching big brother and so the writing was on the wall for the show.
I'm certain this is the case because BB10 was gold and it could not resuscitate the show.

I stopped watching at BB11 , John James destroyed that season . And his & Josie's showmance made me want to vomit.
I started rewatching a few years ago. I don't have the patience to catch-up on all the other c5 series I missed. The clips on YouTube was more than enough for me.
