Information about the hit-reality TV show will reportedly be unveiled during tonight’s episode of Love Island.

Rumours online even suggest that an announcement will be made during tonight's Love Island finale (Monday, August 1st from 9pm ITV2).

Well Big Brother is returning home to our screens. The House, wherever it may be will be home to the contestants and ITV2 will be the new home to fans.

Wonder if it will stay in the London area of go to the regions? Will it be built in a studio or will it be at a more remote location?

Not sure how many details may be given out tonight, other than just the news that it's coming back on ITV2, which the optimists amongst us have been expecting to hear confirmed for months now.

Which makes the whole premise of this announcement a bit ridiculous. There doesn’t seem to be any long term benefit to announcing a show that’s not due to premiere until this time next year. It feels a bit anticlimactic as nothing substantial will be confirmed at least year end of not early next year.

Tbf box ticking is actually an asset for Big Brother as one of the Show's main selling points (that Channel 5 failed to repeatedly understand) was the different groups of people having to interact with each other, and seeing if unlikely friendships would form or would they hate each other because of their differences.

Obviously people with mental health issues shouldn't be allowed on, that should be an obvious thing for everyone to agree on.

The answer to your question should be extremely obvious. Nothing has changed. Evictions are live, and the daily show is pre-recorded highlights from the previous day. It would be impossible to produce a pre-recorded format and have public voting as an integral part of the format. Hence why BBAU only had a public vote for the winner.
