basically one big thread for the road to the revival series gossip, instead of us getting thousands of gossip threads
- for official presenter announcements
- any housemate gossip on social media's
- to post any house pictures when they're available
- what theme of house it'll be gossip
- when revealed, the place to officially post any twists, to officially post wether the voting is a VTE or VTS
no offtopic chat thread, that belongs in the ''private chat thread'' section

Marcus says Channel 5 "didn't give a monkey's" about Big Brother after a few years.
In contrast:
"I'm just absolutely delighted and ITV2 is a perfect home for Big Brother and it'll get the attention it needs," he said. "Even this morning [Tuesday 2nd August] there's been articles and I've been doing some voiceovers as well for Good Morning Britain and This Morning and Lorraine. That's the weight ITV brings."

Cameron BB19 echoes Marcus:
"I love the show and I think the way it was treated by Channel 5 in the end was horrific.
“So I’m really happy that it’s found a new home that hopefully will treat it with love and respect like it used to get.
“The concept is fantastic and it changes people's lives and I’m literally a perfect example of that.
“It gave me the best time of my life and I would go back inside in a heartbeat. I miss it every single day, even just as a TV show and not as a housemate, I just love it... I love it to bits.”

More positive press for the show's return.
Vogue Magazine: "Big Brother Is Everything Love Island Isn’t – And Its Comeback Is Great News For TV."
ITV2 has promised that when the show returns, there will again be contestants “from all walks of life”. Doesn’t that sound like something we need more than ever? The new Big Brother should be more responsible – and maybe a bit more hygienic – than it was in my day. But most of all, it should be what it used to be, and what Love Island isn’t: a big-hearted show that deals in real people, with no filter required.

Though they spelled his name wrong. That bit seems to have been taken from the Daily Telegraph story (2nd August) which is behind a paywall:
Big Brother originally featured a 24-hour live feed, so fans could watch events inside the house at any time. Should it make a comeback? “Totally,” says Osborne. “That was the original innovation. Being live on the internet was a crucial part of the show’s DNA. You could watch the highlights on TV but if you had the time, inclination or fervour, you could go online to see the housemates in all their glory and stuff that didn’t make the edit for TV.”
ITV2 are launching streaming service ITVX later this year and will use the Big Brother live feed to drive subscriptions. “That’s a smart move,” says Osborne. “We’ve still got the live feed here in America. You have to pay for it but not much. UK fans still clamour for it to be brought back.”
Seems that Osborne spoke to the Telegraph rather than Politicalite. And he was told by them that live feed would return on ITVX, then responded positively.

Very glad they want it to be unlike Love Island! Just devo about the show being half the length of the original. You needed a long time for people's masks to fully come away. That was integral!
