If you think 5 bands deserve to win, vote for 5 bands. I don't think there are 5 bands that deserve to win, and I really like some of the bands. If anything, using fewer votes should give the poll more integrity imo.

No it doesn't though. You pick your 5 favourites (whether you think they should win or not) and the one that most people share a liking for (whether it's their first or fifth favourite) should be the winner because it's most commonly liked by all people

ETA : If it's just which band is most people's No1 favourite then the Poll should only have the option of 1 choice imo :shrug:
