What is putting cement into golf holes gonna achieve?
Well it's brought more eyes to the situation than if they'd have just whinged behind their keyboards about it.
A climate activist sign reads:
'This hole drinks 277,000 litres of water a day.
Do you drink that much?'
I imagine many will see this statistic and question why they shouldn't water their garden tonight.
we need water to survive so its a pretty important resource so i have more sympathy for people complaining about misuse watering golf courses

I am biased as a golfer but if clubs can't water their greens then it will go a long way to spoiling the course at what is their peak season
Peoples private gardens being a bit brown for a few weeks is not as important
