I received a text to update my Apple pay details as it has been suspended how do I know its not a scam text :shrug:

I read that if you don’t update the hackers can get total access to your iPhone..
Mine has my LIFE on it ..
I haven’t enough storage space to install the update though !!

the specific issue is related to safari and if you visit a malicious website. If you dont visit dodgy sites there is no threat

Can I just go INCOGNITO or use a VPN to be extra careful ?
Also - On our PC
I do use a foreign mp3 site for buying and downloading albums very cheaply - I top up funds using PayPal
I also ‘borrow’ songs off YouTube using a few YouTube download sites

Yeah that’s the same as I got ,,,scam for sure ...not tried to buy anything on Apple Pay but I am sure it’s fine
