My friend from Bingo has raised patches of irritated skin that I'm convinced is shingles.

ive had shingles. Before any rash, its always preceded by extreme fatigue and then the rash will be on one side of the body and follow your bodies nerve endings

Is that the one where once you pop, you can't stop?

My Dad got it after he had his first covid jab. His GP said a small number of people had it as a side effect. It was very uncomfortable and look unsightly. Took a while to go too.

I doubt it is shingles.

Raised patches could be hives caused by allergy or food.

But she is best to ring 111 if concerned

I had it a couple of years ago it's horrible and the pain in the arms is just awful.

If it's shingles there will be a circular bunch of spots and the rest of the rash only appears on one side of the body
