That's a bit harsh, the team are just not good enough, i don't think thats the managers fault

Very harsh, I agree with bots.
I like Scott Parker.

Under him they did get promoted.

However this is how football goes as to management.
A 9-0 loss too much to think of tolerating.

wonder if the Bournemouth board of directors will also receive a hateful nasty backlash from the fans

i am like absolutely disgusted over here in our competition, how some fans want my team to be relegated just because we have turkish ownership + and they sarcastically call our star player Yilmaz the club's president, thinking like he got everything to say within the club :bored: i'm like bore off, he even got boo'd at last weekends away match vs heerenveen for example, for no particular reason other than that

They are saying that it may have been because he was too honest after the match saying that his players were not good enough. I guess that is a fair point as it destroys the confidence of the team

that's always better than denying or being completely unaware of what went wrong

does not have to destroy the confidence of the team, if said in the right constructive criticism sort of way

I liked Scott Parker too when he managed Fulham. He took them into the Premiership but like Bournemouth the Management did not spend money to sustain the team at that level.
I kind of feel sorry for him...

i think it's about undermining the confidence of a team that is just not up to scratch more than anything else. It's one thing to criticise players who are under achieving but entirely different to criticise players that are just not good enough

How much confidence can you have left to destroy after a 9-0 trashing anyway?

it's the managers job to turn that around, not make it worse

Very difficult to do that after a 9-0 defeat.

And with the player material that Bournemouth seems to currently possess.

Maybe it would have been best if he trashed them privately behind closed doors.

It might have been that he let his annoyance get the better of him.
