Im not allowed inside, unless they ask for an indoor clean.

And its never the victim answering the door.

Just be courteous and supportive from-a-distance without prying too much into their personal lives? Digging for personal information about health and medical issues (at-least when you don’t know the askee that-well or have a real reason to know) can irritate people and come-across as intrusive, nosy and potentially-gossipy. Just be kind without being patronising.

I see the victims as the wives, the huabands, the partners or the kids.

I live in a small town, where everyone knows everyone.
Ive been away for 12 years. Eveyone still knows me, but I can't recall them.

This new job is not easy.:nono:

It will make you question your own mortality
Death is the only guarantee everyone will get.

Considering the stats now are 1 in 2 will get some form of cancer in their lives its no surprise you are seeing so many people with it Parm. Its a bastard of a disease. I have lost so many people to it in my family and friends group. One of my friends has just been diagnosed with cervical cancer, she's 33.

Good luck with the new job....just speak to the families as you would normally, as Sheriff said they don't want to be victims and will probably appreciate the normality of a conversation with you
