Exactly. I don't know why everything has to be about race now. The white residents of Jackson aren't pulling water from stones, they're in the same boat.

I haven't drank water from the tap for about six months now, ever since I saw white stringy things floating in it.

I buy bottled water (very cheap) and there is nothing floating in that. I use bottled water in my kettle too, but I only boil that in the morning for a cup of coffee.

Luckily I only pay £16 per month for water to wash clothes, showers and baths. My water is metered.

The overwhelming majority of people – more than 150,000 – in the predominantly Black
city have now lost access to safe running water.

BECAUSE some of these places are predominantly BLACK, it's like with hurricane Katrina .. again it was predominantly a black community.

Where I live we don't use the tap water because radon is a major issue here. This is an overwhelmingly white rural area with a significant Native American minority. Should I make it all about race as well? White people in the USA are without safe water! We are predominately WHITE! No, I wouldn't, I would say my county is without safe tap water. It affects mostly white people but also Native Americans, black people, and everyone else living here.

I'm not the one printing 'BLACK FOLKS ' , all I said was there's areas that are predominantly BLACK & mixed in race ... especially the poorer parts of town . I don't know why people get their knickers in such a twist over race getting mentioned. Nobody said white people don't live in Mississippi -Jackson .

Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans is a perfect example, where it was alot of black communities that were left homeless. it was A FACT .

Race sells. Doesn't matter which side you're on, the sensationalist press use race in headlines to their "advantage"

A good example - Cop kills suspect, reaction "ah". - WHITE COP kills BLACK GUY, reaction "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAT RACIST RACIST RACIST"

Of course white cops killing black people is and has been due to race. But other times it's got nothing to do with race.

No, this isn’t Joe Biden’s nation. The US is made up of states and it has state rights. The state government is in charge, not the POTUS. The state failed. The US is not Great Britain. It has an entirely different system. States are akin to separate countries. The federal government has a process when it comes to intervening. State rights come first. Learn how the United States operates before making such ridiculous pronouncements.

I agree with your point on this can't be blamed on Joe Biden.

This is a Tate Reeves issue as he is the Governor of Mississippi.
